<p>So there you have it&#8230;Gokey sold better than Allison, worse than Kris, and significantly worse than Adam. Of course, sales in March generally do not compare to those during the holiday shopping season. On the other hand, of the Top 4, only Gokey had the benefit of performing on American Idol the same week his album was released. </p>
<p>Which brings us to the issue of the coveted Idol Sales Spike. Fangirls of all persuasions shiver with anticipation when their chosen Idol appears on the show, eagerly anticipating MASSIVE sales&#8230;can anyone forget this?</p>
