There’s a list?
Things I hate about Hezzer? Things I adore about Hezzer? Things I need to educate Hezzer on? Things that prove Hezzer has serious psychological issues that need to be addressed?
*wonders what else is on it*

Last night I was showing Nevada some clips from shows I like, this clip from the Poirot series made me laugh…

I missed the 28th comments, now I see what is meant by the boat and ponies song. I don’t own that Lyle Lovett CD, I never heard it before.

For me, it is usually triangular but, of course, it depends on the shape and kind of bread.

Heh…a useful Springsteen Bot TWITTER page that provides individual youtube video links to all his songs.

Of all the lyrics, in all the world, why are these the ones I can not get out of my head this morning?

Poirot!
And, OMG Dexter. Only two more shows until the end of the season. I love the show’s characters, but casting John Lithgow as the Trinity killer was bloody genius.
ETA:
Heh…no pun intended.

Lloyd’s of London Insures Adam Lambert’s Crotch for $1 Million
Los Angeles, CA – Lloyd’s of London (Lloyd’s), perhaps best known for its unusual insurance policies on various body parts of the rich and famous, including Tina Turner’s legs, Celine Dion’s vocal chords, and burlesque stripper, Tempest Storm’s breasts, has just announced that it has contracted with singer Adam Lambert to insure Lambert’s crotch for $1 Million Dollars.
A spokesperson for Lloyd’s would not discuss the specifics of the policy other than to state that this policy will help to ensure the safety of Lambert’s privates while he is forced to simulate sex acts on stage.
Asked why he decided to take out this insurance policy, Lambert stated that he and his handlers realized the very real risk of Lambert overshooting his thrust into another dancer’s face, and thereby causing permanent bruising to his member. In addition, they have been advised by Lambert’s doctors that excessive thrusting can eventually lead to penile arthritis, a very painful permanent condition….

From November 28th thread…
I don’t dislike David Cook but it is more than a bit difficult to take him seriously as an “edgy rocker” when there is a rubber chicken hanging from the sound equipment behind him while he is singing. Just sayin’.

For the record…
1) I love Lyle Lovett.
2) I have seen him in concert a couple of times.
3) I know the lyrics of “If I had a Boat” well enough to sing along.

Meanwhile, across the pond…
BOYLE’S BRITISH RUN: Susan Boyle‘s debut Syco/Columbia record, I Dreamed a Dream, entered the U.K. album chart in the top spot Sunday. The 48-year-old Scottish songstress sold more than 410k copies of the release since it hit retail Nov. 23, which makes it the fastest-selling album so far this year in Britain, and the largest first-week sales for a debut album in the country’s chart history. The disc will debut at #1 with an even better total, between 625-675k here in the States, tomorrow. (11/30a)

I have to say, I was quite taken with “If I Had a Boat” (particularly the pony) and think it would do quite well in a movie, if only someone would make the right movie for it.

I love this show:
Rule No. 1 on “The Amazing Race”: Don’t ever give up.
This week’s episode of “The Amazing Race,” the season’s penultimate, found the four remaining teams navigating the streets of Prague at night as the producers threw all manner of bizarre tasks at the contestants, forcing them to build golems, drink absinthe, answer ringing telephones, plunge into frigidly cold rooms and deliver beer, all while avoiding drunken Prague tourists and soccer hooligans.
If there was one leg that required 110% (save, obviously, the final leg), it was this one as it would determine which three teams would advance for the chance to race for $1 million and a congratulatory eyebrow-raise from host Phil Keoghan.

I had the misfortune to visit the supermarket on Saturday. Whilst there my ears were assaulted by some music in the cd/dvd aisle, they’re playing some dreadful tuneless Christmas music was my first thought, then I saw the featured artist, Susan ‘bloody’ Boyle, who is buying that crap?
