I took a peak at Hits Daily Double this morning…
BOSS DREAM KICKS OFF AT THE SUMMIT: Springsteen Album Set to Debut at #1, 225-250k Total Could be Rising
The Boss is back where he belongs… at the top of the charts.
Bruce Springsteen’s new Columbia album, Working on a Dream, is a lock for #1 next week. All that’s left is the counting.
And while first-week sales, based on one-day reports from retailers digging their way out of snowstorms, hover in the 225-250k range, that total could be Rising based on the hype leading up to Sunday’s Super Bowl performance. Obviously, the sales effect of the Boss’ halftime apperance in Tampa will be reflected in the following week’s total.
That, of course, will end Taylor Swift’s impressive eight-week run at the top spot on the HITS Album chart.
Topping the rest of the chart newcomers will be Glasgow arch rockers Franz Ferdinand’s third Epic album, Tonight, slated for between 35-40k, which given today’s market, will place them in the Top 10.

Perhaps xo has been hanging out at DCO? She’s already working hard to lower expectations, something the David C fangirls do to the point of exhaustion.
On the other hand, I have to agree…Katharine will never sell millions of CDs.
True. Gold and platinum are out. Hell, she still hasn’t even sold tinfoil.
ETA:
I find it a tad amusing that the *** fans continue to make excuses for her. The “she is young and has not found her musical identity yet” comments persist. LMAO

Kelly does seem to love that bratty girl image, although I’m not sure how much longer she’ll be credible playing the part.
That said, I expect “Since U Came Back” to be a hit for her and a solid first single for her album. Will the album sell as well as “Breakaway” or “Thankful”? We shall see…
