Alrighty, I think we got it right last week, Yeeha!

I am so excited, I love this show. OK, so what do we have to look forward to tonight? Well inevitably Leah, sigh ( I am reminded of a scene in Singing in the Rain, Every one is excited about the potential of putting their best foot forward, “Lockwood and Lamont, they talk” and then Lena says in her horrible voice, “Well of course we talk don’t everybody?” and you can feel the enthusiasm deflate). We have the Judges, Mary (see previous aside comment), Rex Harrington (should be good, he is an extraordinarily good dancer and judge of dancers), Tre of course, and Jean Marc Generoux.

There are definite pluses and minuses tonight. Leah is a big minus.

Lisa and Vincent Samba. I like the music a lot, and when they were on they were awesome. There were a few fuck ups, even me a borderline fangirl for these two can see that, but overall they were still good, even when they are not perfect, they are fabulous (to me at least). Mary puts them on her hot tamale train. Sigh we were not spared this annoying thing.

Speaking of annoying things, I need to mute Leah.

“Lovey dovey” Lara and Miles are next.  Their West Coast swing looks awkward to me, laboured (thanks for the word Hezzer), the choreography and performance of it was laboured. Not feeling it. Over all, week after week, I find these guys kind of bore me. They have aprons on and they are  torn off to show her bedazzled bra, at least his shirt stays on this time (this whole move is clumsy). Mary calls the dancing a little bit sloppy, and that is how I feel about it. Jean Marc says that West Coast Swing is supposed to be smooth. No it wasn’t smooth. I don’t know, he also calls it crazy and energetic (or something like that, I don’t really want to re-watch these two), I’m not feeling that either. I do not get the love for this couple. Oh well, to each his own.

I fucking hate Leah.

Nico and Arrassay do Hip Hop. As long as Luther is choreographing, he cannot be a judge, yes! Well, no gravity defying jeans tonight. Oh shut up Leah. Anyway, nice unison, they dance well, but that was boring choreography.  Really. Boring. I want to see Nico get a good routine to show what he can do. Oh well. The reviews from the judges are OK, not over the top gushing. I blame the choreography, I really do. Uninspiring, what a waste of two good dancers.

Go away Leah.

Danny and Allie are doing Contemporary with, oh fuck fuck fuckity fuck, the Idiot Little Boy Choreographer who sucked last time he choreographed a number. Well he made up for that monstrosity of a couple of weeks ago. This was good (thank goodness, I did not want to have to bring the Darth Vader Noooo!! out again) Shirtless Danny leaps and keeps up nicely with his ballet trained partner. The judges like it.

Leah shut up.

Natalli and Francis will be telling us a story with the Theatre genre. I like Francis, but not her so much.  But…they did well tonight. The dance is about a terrible bad boy friend, and Francis gets pushed and thrown across the stage by Natalli.  It was a rough dance, very theatrical. So Rex is tired of the Hot Tamale Train, he asks for a new form of transportation called the Sexy Rexy Rocket to the Stars. Hee hee, what a card. Overall the judges are amazed how sexy rough and dirty these two got. Well yes, overall a good performance.

Well of course we talk, don’t everybody?

OK, I am a polite Canadian, but I need people (looking at you judges), to be a little more negative. Seriously. I still like these judges (hell even Mary is not bugging me tonight), better than the US version (I seriously cannot stand Mia, she elicits a gag reflex in me…Wink, but be mean, for chrissakes. These dancers need to improve, help them out.

Speaking of eliciting gag reflexes, ugh, Leah.

Caroline and Jesse Hustle. OK, this was boring. Again tonight. I do not know what is wrong with them, I did not like that. Mary points out a lot of mistakes, and that sets the tone for the other judges. Wow, I rant about needing them to be mean, and here they are, being mean. Well I was bored and I agree with the judges that this was disappointing. They like her more, and I am sorry she is just as mediocre as him. Just my opinion.

Izaak and Kaitlyn dance Jazz. Blake choreographs a  hard hitting routine. Waitress and Businessman, yup, never seen that before. These dancers rise to the occasion, though and perform better than they have before. I will venture to say, I think they deserve to stay after that, gasp, shock. At one point she does this leap from the table into his arms and he, oh hell too hard to explain it, but it was cool. Watch the Youtubes.

So overall I would like to see Miles and Lara go (they won’t) or Jesse and Caroline (they might get sympathy votes though).
