Dante’s Inferno Test – Impurity, Sin… and Damnation
A heavy thunder breaks the deep lethargy within your head….
…causing you to upstart suddenly, like a person who by force is awakened. Before you stands an enormous gate with an inscription that reads:
“Through me the way into the suffering city,
Through me the way to the eternal pain,
Through me the way that runs among the lost.
Justice urged on my high artificer;
My maker was divine authority,
The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
And I endure eternally.
Abandon every hope, ye who enter here.”

Health and safety killjoys force Santa to wear a seatbelt in his 5mph sleigh
Santa is being made to belt up – in case he falls off his sleigh whizzing through towns at a top speed of five mph.
Old Saint Nick was nearly banned from riding on his sleigh when new insurance conditions meant he needed to wear a seatbelt…..

The other times I have taken this quiz, I have consistently landed in Level 6, alone in The City of Dis. Just my luck, today I take the quiz—when I could have had company—and find my own lustful self alone in Level 2. Heh, Level 2 and Level 6, are the only levels where it is necessary for the scores to be EXTREME to gain entry.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Not that I have ANY sources for this – it just would appear – give the impression to a casual observer – cause one to speculate – that a certain tiger-beat talking blog writer may have lost their day job.
Or developed an expensive habit of some kind.
Nevada a Level 6??? I’ve never felt so good about being so bad.

Strife Girls disunited: Behind the scenes of pop’s most fractious comeback
….And because of the scale of the operation, with each girl travelling with a large entourage of family, security and other support staff ( beauticians, dieticians, masseurs etc), it is an expensive operation to mount, which again eats into the amount of money which they can expect to take home – and Victoria excepted, they are all doing this for the money.
They are expected to make £7 to £10 million each, but to maximise profits they need to sell bucketloads of Greatest Hits albums.
Last week, the first of its release, their Greatest Hits sold 1.4 million copies worldwide, of which 75,000 were in the UK. X Factor’s Leona Lewis trounced this by selling 375,000 copies of her album in Britain that week…..

Well at least the good people of the United Kingdom know not to throw their money away.
Lol, I just connected the dots. They can stab it with their steely knives but they just can’t kill the snark.

From Hits Daily Double’s Rumor Mill:
HAS IDOL PEAKED? Of those newcomers who have managed to break through in this decade, several have sprung from the American Idol franchise, but of those, only Carrie Underwood has managed to continue the momentum of a multi-platinum debut with a comparably strong follow-up. Meanwhile, wonderers are wondering why the debut album of this year’s winner, Jordin Sparks, sold only 121k units in its first week despite having generated major airplay—a circumstance that goes against the conventional wisdom that the Idol platform plus airplay equals big album sales. Sparks’ performance has caused some to wonder whether the value of the Idol platform has diminished. (11/29p)

Also from the HDD Rumor Mill:
TALENT SHORTAGE: Many industry observers are taking note of the paucity of newly minted career artists in recent years, meaning those who have a legitimate shot at making records as enduring as those of the Eagles, for example, whose first record was released way back in 1972. Total orders on the band’s new Long Road Out of Eden from Wal-Mart, the exclusive retailer, are now approaching a staggering 4.5 million units. What’s more, Wal-Mart’s multimillion-dollar holiday campaign will prominently feature the album. The Eagles’ ongoing commercial potency—along with that of the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and Madonna—begs the question: which of today’s acts will be the legacy artists of future decades? (11/29p)
I have a few ideas about who WON’T become legacy artists…
